Program
Description
RRES system ranks Unemployment Insurance (UI) claimants to determine and rank those most likely to exhaust UI Benefits. Clients who are determined most in danger of exhausting their benefits are called in for reemployment services based upon the capacity of the local employment and training system. Clients are also eligible for dislocated worker services under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). Clients may be called in by TWC staff or by service providers designated by the Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB).

Funding Source WIA monies are being utilized. Program is federally mandated and funded from the Dislocated Worker Program Formula allocation.

Targeted
Population
All clients who receive a first payment from UI are ranked. The only exceptions are claimants who are union hiring hall affiliated, interstate claimants, shared work claimants or claimants who have a definite recall date.
