Blue Star Mothers of America
The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is a non-partisan, non-political organization. We do not support any political candidate, nor do we endorse any religious organization. The military represents all aspects of America as does our organization. We are mothers who now have, or have had, children honorably serving in the military. We are a non-profit (501[c]3) service organization supporting each other and our children while promoting patriotism. The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is authorized by the U.S. Code: Title 36; Section 943, as of January 26, 1998.
Marine Moms Online
The initial mission of Marine Moms Online was to provide support and encouragement for parents of U.S. Marines and an outlet to air concerns, receive and offer information and share experiences. With additional members came new ideas, creativity, and energy, and the group now participates in writing to Marines who have little family support, writing to recruits in boot camp in need of encouragement, collecting videos suitable for viewing by recruits in the Medical Rehabilitation and Physical Conditioning platoons, and many more projects.

The Coming Home Project
The Coming Home Project is a non-profit organization devoted to providing compassionate care, support and stress management tools for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families. We are a group of veterans, psychotherapists and interfaith leaders committed to helping transform the wounds of war. We help veterans and family members rebuild the connectivity of mind, heart, body and spirit that combat trauma can unravel; renew their relationships with loved ones; and create new support networks. We build a safe space - a community -- for veterans and their families to come together and share their stories, struggles and accomplishments. Single veterans are also most welcome.

MilSpouse.org is your resource library for military spouse employment, education, and relocation information. Here you will find links to employment related information and other resources for military spouses and military families. The Military Spouse Resource Center (MilSpouse.org) is designed to assist the spouses of U.S. total force military personnel. The MilSpouse.org web site is jointly sponsored by the Department of Defense and the Department of Labor and is a testimonial to the commitment of DoD and to the interagency MOU signed by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

Veterans and Families is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit community service and support organization, founded and directed by Veterans, parents, grandparents, family members, employers, mental health professionals, academics, philanthropists and community leaders.
Our Mission:
- To help our Veterans get home both mentally and emotionally.
- To help Veterans and their families raise happy, healthy children in a safe and stable environment where both parents are supportive and emotionally available.
- To assist our homecoming Veterans and their families in sucessfully transitioning home from deployment and from military to civilian life
- To keep families together through the trials of homecoming
- To work in tandem with all government and civilian resources and agencies.

Fisher House Foundation, Inc.
The Fisher House Foundation donates "comfort homes" built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. In addition to providing housing for families while military members recuperate, Fisher House Foundation also helps military families in need, and offers other scholarships and programs.
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships for children of former Marines, and additional scholarships for children with a parent serving or who has serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom.
MWR
Army MWR exists because the U.S. Army is committed to the well-being of the community of people who serve and stand ready to defend the nation.
Army MWR is a comprehensive network of support and leisure services designed to enhance the lives of soldiers (active, Reserve, and Guard), their families, civilian employees, military retirees and other eligible participants. Over 37,000 MWR employees worldwide strive to deliver the highest quality programs and services at each installation -- from family, child and youth programs to recreation, sports, and entertainment, travel and leisure activities.
National Military Family Association
The purpose of the National Military Family Association is to educate military families concerning their rights, benefits and services available to them and to inform them regarding the issues that affect their lives as well as to promote and protect the interests of military families by influencing the development and implementation of legislation and policies affecting them.
National Center for PTSD
Deployment to a war zone causes stress on the service member and the entire family. The National Center for PTSD provides helpful information about the types of problems families can have and things to do to cope.
Our Military Kids, Inc.
Our Military Kids awards grants to children of deployed National Guard and Reserve personnel and to children of severely injured service members. the grants find extracurricular activates, giving children the opportunity to participate in sports, fine arts, or academic tutoring programs. Such Activities help nurture and sustain these children while their parent is away in service to our country.
Sesame Workshop
The Sesame Workshop, in partnership with Wal-Mart, has created, "Talk, Listen, connect: helping Military Families During Deployment," a bilingual educational kit that helps military families cope with feelings, concerns, and challenges experienced during the various stages of deployment. Snowball Express.org
Snowball Express started in early 2006 with a simple idea: America should honor and pay tribute to the children of those military fallen heroes who have died while honorably serving since 9/11. United Through Reading
United Through Reading provides military families faced with physical separation. Parents and children stay connected during long deployments through the medium of reading aloud on videotape.
Veterans' Families United
Veterans' Families United (VFU) was founded by 2006 Oklahoma Mother of the Year, Cynde Collins-Clark. Cynder's son Joe, returned from active duty in Iraq with undiagnosed but severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In her quest for resources, psychotherapist Collins-Clark discovered that she needed significant education to find what would best serve her sonrsquos painful recovery process. In order to educate herself, she had to become proactive and self-advocating since the resources she needed were not readily available. Collins-Clark also learned that many, if not all families of returning Veterans were in the same boat.
Veterans Family Fund
The Veterans Family Fund of America (VFFA) is based in Washington State and organized with the immediate goal of helping veterans and their families in the state and with the long-range aim of extending the program across America. A grassroots community organization, the Veterans Family Fund of America is dedicated to meeting critical needs that fall through the cracks of other veterans programs.
Zero to Three
Zero to Three has the mission to support the healthy development and well-being of infants, toddlers and their families. Military Projects at Zero to Three has launched a new three-year initiative, Coming Together Aroufnd Military Families (CTAMF). It is aimed at strengthening the resilience of young children and their families who are experiencing deployment and separation.
