Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits services are available on the Internet, 24 hours a day, and by telephone Monday - Friday from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Generally, getting help on the Internet is faster than using the telephone.

The following services are available on the Internet.

• Apply for Benefits - Fill out a new application for UI benefits.
• Payment Request - Request payment, if you have an existing claim, submit your Work Search Log or change your address.
• WorkInTexas.com - Register for job search assistance and use TWC's online job resource.
• Unemployment Insurance Benefits Information - Find information about filing for UI benefits and answers to frequently asked questions.
• Information on How to File an Appeal - Get information on how to appeal a decision.
• Debit Card Frequently Asked Questions (PDF) - Find answers to questions about the TWC UI debit card.
• Chase Bank - Get account information about your UI debit card on the Chase Web site or call 1-866-865-1273.

If you cannot access the Internet services listed above, call a UI Tele-Center. The toll-free number is not available in cities served by a local number.
