A Motion for Rehearing

After the Commissioners review your case and issue a Commission decision, you may file a final appeal, with this agency, called a Motion for Rehearing. The Commission Appeals department will present your motion and an analysis of your case to the Commissioners who will then issue a decision.

If you disagree with this decision, you may appeal by filing a lawsuit in court. Information about appealing to court is mailed with the Commission's decision. This information is also available in Spanish. There is a time limit for filing appeals.

If you have questions or comments, please direct them to Commission Appeals via e-mail: comapp@twc.state.tx.us.
