6.15    Voluntary Contributions

[ 6.15.1 - Employer Internet Access ]

Employers are able to lower their annual tax rates by reducing the chargeback total through a voluntary contribution. A Voluntary Contribution Election Form is sent with the annual tax rate notice for each employer with chargebacks of benefits in the computation period. The employer should submit the Form along with their voluntary contribution.

6.15.1   Employer Internet Access

Employers can access the Voluntary Contributions Analysis page on the Internet.

The Analysis page will not display any actual values. The employer will need to key in the chargebacks and taxed wages information provided on their Tax Rate Notice If an employer has access to the Unemployment Tax Services they can access the Voluntary Contributions Analysis web page that allows them to make the analysis and includes an option to pay the voluntary contribution via the online payment portal. The UTS Voluntary Contributions Analysis web page will pre-fill the information provided to the employer via their Tax Rate Notice.

NOTE: Access to the Voluntary Contribution Analysis web pages is usually available from December to the end of April.
