9.2     Service on a Vessel - Vessel Listing

Section 201.045 refers to service performed on or in connection with an American vessel. Service is considered employment if the service is employment under the IRS code of 1986 and if the operating office from which the vessel is regularly directed and controlled is in this state. NOAA Fisheries: Office of Science & Technology is a manual listing of vessels that can be used to identify and determine the jurisdiction of vessels operating under the reciprocal agreement between states.
