Registration Requirements:
To upload wages using QuickFile, you must register for access to Unemployment Tax Services. During the quick and simple registration process, users will create a User ID and password that will be used each time they access the online system. Hardware Requirements:
- Minimum of 24MB of RAM
- PC or compatible
- 2 MB free disk space
- Internet connection
Software Requirements:
- Windows 98, 2000, XP or Vista operating systems
- Internet Explorer 5.5, 6.0, or 7.0
Internet Explorer 7.0 requires that you run the current version of QuickFile.
Data File Format Requirements:
QuickFile is designed to transfer wage data from one of the following formats:
- ICESA (specifications as a Word document or a PDF file)
- MMREF-1 (specifications as a Word document or a PDF file)
- Comma-Delimited
- Fixed-Length
You will need to contact your payroll software company to determine if your system can
produce payroll reports in one of these formats or visit the software
vendors page for
a listing of vendors that provide software products that can create payroll reports compatible
with the ICESA or MMREF-1 formats.
QuickFile can read data organized in comma-delimited and fixed-length
formats. Some payroll programs can create a spreadsheet version of the payroll
information which can then be converted by spreadsheet programs into comma-delimited or ("*.csv")
files.
